Maybe you've been to a few wineries and you're starting to get the hang of it. You know a Pinot from a Riesling. Don't get too cocky, there is plenty more to learn. Before you hit the restaurant for lunch, brush up on the fundamentals of
wine and food pairing.
When stored properly most wines can be stored for years without spoiling. Some types of wine even get better with age. Ever hear the phrase, "aged like a fine wine"? If you would like to store wine for any period of time,
make sure you store your wine properly.
If you are serving wine at a restaurant, the wine should be presented in the correct manner so that your guests feel that they have a professional server. Believe it or not, there are wine serving manners that should be heeded! Learn how to serve wine properly.
