Cabernet Peaches Dessert Recipe
This is a fantastic fairly easy dessert recipe; the perfect finish to a romantic dinner or a great treat for an evening next to the fireplace.
Ingredients
-1 bottle of your favorite Cabernet Sauvignon
-6oz sugar
-6 peaches
-4oz raspberries
Directions
Pour the wine into a stainless stell pot or saucepan. Add the sugar and peaches. Bring to a boil and let simmer for 18-20 minutes or until peaches are tender.
Take th peaches out and put them aside. Turn up the heat and boil the liquid until it is syrupy. Taste it and add sugar if necessary.
Pour the liquid over the peaches and add the raspberries to on top. Put them in the fridge to cool, turning the peaches over in the sauce every 10 minutes.
Serve chilled with whipped cream on top!
