White Wine Fruit Salad Recipe
This is a really refreshing, easy fruit salad recipe. This one works well on hot summer days. (I found this recipe in Atlanta Cooknotes. Posted to MM-Recipes Digest V4 #8 by "Cindy Hartlin" on Feb 14, 1999)
Ingredients:
4 cups cantaloupe, chopped
4 cups honeydew, chopped
3 cups watermelon, chopped
1 cup seedless green grapes
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp lemon rind
1/2 cup dry white wine
2 tbsp sugar
lettuce
Directions Stir the sugar into a bowl with the lemon juice, lemon rind, and wine. Chill for a couple of hours, stirring occasionally. Mix in fruit and serve on a bed of lettuce or eat plain. It's that easy!
Have a Great Wine Recipe?
I don't have the time to invest gathering 100 more recipes, and I also don't want my site to become too one-dimensional by only having my own personal recipes. So I want people to contribute their favorite recipes and vote or comment on the best. This will allow my visitors (that's you!) to share their favorite recipes, contribute content, vote, experiment, and receive kudos from fellow visitors on their grandma's best recipe. It's a win-win for everyone. I get really good additional content and my visitors get to be part of the community!
